日本の技術は既に海外でも高い評価を得ているにもかかわらず市場はまだ小さく課題も多い。 これを解決する一つの方法として、国内外で手仕事の良さが再評価される機会をもっと作り、 市場を再構築することを目指す。素材生産者や道具製造者を含めデザイナーや手仕事に携わる人たちの ネットワークを深め、未来に繋がる和のものづくりを「新たな和室のプロトタイプを制作」を通して 表現・発表する。 器（UTSUWA）プロジェクト実行委員会は、国際チームとして2025大阪･関西EXPOへの参加をめざす。

Although Japanese technology has already been highly evaluated overseas, the market is still small and there are many issues. As one way to solve this, we aim to create more opportunities for the goodness of handicrafts to be re-evaluated at home and abroad, and to rebuild the market. We will deepen the network of designers and people involved in handicrafts, including material producers and tool makers, and express and announce Japanese manufacturing that will lead to the future through "creating a prototype of a new Japanese-style room, called UTSUWA". The UTSUWA Project Executive Committee will try to participate in the 2025 Osaka-Kansai EXPO as an international team.

器を舞台に日本の伝統芸能とのコラボレーション。時間により、さまざまな日本の伝統芸能を披露する予定です。

UTSUWA1.1は和室の特徴を活かし、演目に応じて「ヒトとコト」を入れる「器」としてステージを盛り上げます。
